Princess Eugenie and her fiancé, Jack Brooksbank, recently sent thank you cards to their well-wishers.

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank were very pleased with the warm support they received from the public following their engagement announcement. As a result, the couple took the time to send out handwritten thank you cards to those who wish them well.

A photo of the card has been shared online. "We are so grateful for your lovely message congratulating us on our engagement," the couple wrote. "We are so happy and excited and look forward to 2018 being a very special year for us. Thank you for thinking of us."

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank signed the card with their names. It was placed in a white envelope emblazoned with a matching gold "E" and crown insignia.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Prince Harry and Markle also sent thank you cards to their fans. The couple was very grateful for the sweet messages they received from the public following their royal engagement.

"Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle were incredibly touched that you took the trouble to write as you did in connection with their forthcoming Wedding," the newly engaged couple's thank you card read. "It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated. His Royal Highness and Mr. Markle send you their warmest thanks and very best wishes."

However, Prince Harry and Markle's thank you card was not noticeably similar to the one Kate Middleton sent on her birthday in February 2017. Only a few words were changed.

"The Duchess of Cambridge was touched that you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of her birthday. It really was most thoughtful of you and Her Royal Highness sends you her warmest thanks and best wishes," Middleton's birthday thank you card read.

In related news, Markle is often compared to Middleton and Princess Eugenie. But the three women do not have issues with each other. Hadley Freeman believed that the competition and alleged feuding among Middleton, Markle and Princess Eugenie could be due to everyone' fandom about a female rivalry.

When Prince Harry and Markle appeared in their first joint interview, the "Horrible Bosses" star described the Duchess of Cambridge as "wonderful."

Meanwhile, a source claimed that Markle has cut ties with her friends following her engagement to Prince Harry and has become close to the Duke's crowd. This includes Hughes-Young, wife of Prince Harry's best friend Tom Inskip, and his royal cousin Princess Eugenie.
