Up until now, insurers, independent adjusters and third partyadministrators have relied on fax, email and telephone to share claims andrepair information with repair shops that are not part of an approvednetwork. However, with NuGen IT's application, companies can nowcommunicate electronically in the same manner as those who are part of aDRP network.

Tagliapietra explains that implementation of the NNP will increaseproductivity and have a positive impact on customer satisfaction andoverall service.

"The implementation of this application will have a ripple effectthroughout the entire claims process," he notes. "Improving effectivenessand efficiency will also control administrative costs and overhead for ourclients."
