A 6:30 p.m. TCCA departure will be added to the schedule along with a 9p.m. Newark departure. Porter currently operates six return flights everyweekday on the TCCA-Newark route, plus weekend service.

"These new times match closely with our original schedule and will befamiliar to Porter travellers," said Robert Deluce, president and CEO ofPorter Airlines. "We're regularly discussing options for adding and revisingflight times with the FAA and other airlines."

Porter recently reduced its weekday service to six from seven dailyflights while adding weekend capacity as part of the FAA's efforts to minimizecongestion at New York-area airports.

"By the fall, we expect to have our seventh daily Newark flight back inthe schedule and based on overwhelming passenger response to date, expandfrequencies to as many as 13 daily flights within the next year. It's astep-by-step process that we'll continue to work at with the goal of providingthe best possible schedule for passengers.

"Newark bookings have been consistently strong and this momentum iscontinuing despite broad cutbacks at other airlines. We know there is demandfor more Porter service here."
