Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) will provide business consulting and systemsintegration services for Telefónica's fixed and mobile operationsacross Latin America, allowing Telefónica to improve control of itsrevenue streams.

Under the agreement, Ericsson will provide business consultingservices including financial-risk evaluation and revenue assurancelife-cycle management, supported by technical analysis. Ericsson willalso provide systems integration services such as design, adaptationand integration of customized Revenue Assurance solutions forTelefónica's Latin American operations.

Ericsson's transformation project and solution will enable Telefónicato gain greater control of its operations and prevent the recurrenceof inconsistencies that adversely affect revenue.
