Pierce,who has served as MarketLive Chief Financial Officer for the past 6 months,brings a fifteen-year track record of success in retail and eCommerce. AsCEO, Pierce will continue the company's charge to deliver unparalleledcustomer service, powerful technology, reliable IT infrastructure, and bestpractices for online retailers.

Pierce will take over CEO responsibilities immediately. The Board ofDirectors selected Pierce because of his extensive domain expertise and hissound business operations acumen. He has held top positions at leadingcompanies including Procter & Gamble and Accenture. He was Executive VicePresident of the Western Region for USWeb/CKS. Under his leadership atUSWeb/CKS, some of the first retail eCommerce sites were launched. His teamsuccessfully created the initial eCommerce sites for Williams-Sonoma, LeviStrauss & Co., Mazda of America, Walgreens, and JCPenney among others.

Most recently, Mark was a Managing Partner with Pinnacle Rock Associates(PRA), a company specializing in connecting eCommerce operations withmid-market, multi-channel retail enterprise systems. Many currentMarketLive customers were also PRA customers.
