The Hanover Insurance Group Strengthens Ohio Team

The Hanover has appointed Bob Cohen as regional vice president, commerciallines, for its Ohio market, with responsibility for coordinating overallcommercial lines strategies and activities.
Cohen, who lives in the Dublin area, previously served as commercial linesmanager for The Hanover's Southeast Michigan market. He joined the company in2005, coming from Chubb Insurance, where he served as commercial insurancepractice leader in the company's Pittsburgh office. Prior to that, Cohenserved as branch underwriting manager at Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group,for the company's Western Pennsylvania market.
The announcement follows The Hanover's recent appointment of Don Harmelingas regional vice president, personal lines, for the Ohio market. Harmelingjoined the company in 2007, coming from Safeco Insurance Company, where heserved as sales and distribution manager for the company's Ohio region.
