Smart Grid Leader Joins the Joint US-China Cooperation on Clean Energy (JUCCCE) to Bring International Expertise to Global Climate Challenges

The overall aim of the pact, known as theJUCCCE China Smart Grid Cooperative, is to reduce the impact of electricalgeneration and transmission on global climate change.
The commitment signing ceremony, held September 25, was led bynongovernmental organization Joint US-China Cooperation on Clean Energy(JUCCCE). Honorary committee members of the NGO include Sir RichardBranson, chairman of Virgin Group and James Rogers, chairman and CEO ofDuke Energy, among others. Rogers was also present at the signing. OptimalTechnologies recently became a platinum member of the organization's JUCCCEChina Smart Grid Cooperative.
