We congratulate Congressman Joe Knollenberg of Michigan for his leadershipand courage in voting for the Economic Stabilization Act and convincing othermembers of Congress to vote yes on the bill.

Congressman Knollenberg played a leadership role to ensure that this billprovides Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and the Federal Reserve with theauthority to address the automotive credit liquidity problem and to helpstimulate car and truck sales across the country.

These actions will help put us on a path to recovery and help secure thefuture for people in Michigan and across the country.
