Zumba(R) Fitness to Host First-Ever Zumba Instructor Convention
Event Proceeds to Benefit Dr. Oz's HealthCorps(R)

ORLANDO, FL -- (Marketwire) -- 10/20/08 -- Zumba® Fitness, the world's largestdance-based fitness program, proudly announces the first-ever ZumbaInstructor Convention taking place October 31st through November 2nd, 2008.Thethree-day convention, in conjunction with Staples and Lady of America, willbe held at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando and will bring together more than1,000 members of the Zumba Instructor Network from around the world.
After selling out in just 30 days, the Zumba Instructor Convention, thefirst of its kind, will consist of several large training workshops,including the launch of several new Zumba training programs, products, andZumba education sessions.
New programs being introduced at the convention are designed to offer Zumbainstructors a variety of new techniques and resources resulting in moreversatile and energized routines for their clients. Some of the newprograms include Zumba Basic Level 2 and Zumba Toning (Zumba class withlight weights) created for instructors to further their Zumba education.
On Saturday, November 1st, Zumba Fitness®, will host a Zumbathon Party at8:30 pm in the Plaza International Ballroom. All proceeds from theZumbathon Party, a colossal Zumba class with more than 1,000 ZumbaInstructors, will directly benefit HealthCorps®, which addresses thecrisis of obesity in America through school-based peer mentoring, as wellas community events and outreach to underserved populations.
