Atradius Trade Credit Insurance Receives A (Excellent) Rating From A.M. Best

BALTIMORE, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- A.M. Best Co. has assigned a financialstrength rating of A (Excellent) and an issuer credit rating of "a" toAtradius Trade Credit Insurance Inc., the U.S. arm of the Atradius Group. Theoutlook for both ratings is stable.
According to an announcement today by A.M. Best, the ratings reflectAtradius' strong capitalization, conservative leverage, consistentlyprofitable operating results, the expertise of the management team within thetrade credit field and the strong risk management culture at all levels of thecompany's operations.
Brett Halsey, Regional Director, Atradius Trade Credit Insurance Inc.,said the new ratings send a particularly strong message given theexceptionally turbulent global economy. "That A.M.
