Bally Technologies Partners With Cisco Systems for the Networked Floor of the Future(TM)
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bally Technologies, Inc.(NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, and casino management softwarefor the global gaming industry, today announced an expanded relationship withCisco Systems, naming Cisco its preferred provider of high-speed Ethernetnetworking for casino-floor environments.
Bally's expanded relationship with Cisco, combined with the Company'sexperience working with Cisco on the implementation of a number of high-speednetworked casino floors, ensures a much smoother, more seamless implementationfor Bally Systems customers looking to move to the Networked Floor of theFuture.

Bally also announced that Cisco will provide all the networking equipmentfor its 11,000 square foot exhibit at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) November18-20 in Las Vegas. Cisco's presence will include switches designedspecifically for the casino floor, providing interactive video content andsecure data transactions with zero-touch administration. Also featured will beCisco switches designed for hospitality rooms. Cisco will have representativeson hand to talk with gaming operators interested in high-speed networkedfloors.
