The presentation to benefit Fight for Children, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington (BGCGW), and NIH Children's Charities takes place on Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. at GEICO. Brian Mitchell, former Redskins running back, will be on hand to celebrate the donation with representatives from the receiving charities.

Bikers for Tykes is an annual event sponsored by GEICO at three of its locations throughout the country. Each location raises money for different charities; Virginia Beach, Va., supports Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters; Tucson, Az., donates to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson and Fredericksburg, Va., supports Fight for Children, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington and NIH Children's Charities. The annual event includes motorcycle raffles, silent auctions, children's rides and musical entertainment for families.

This year's winner of the motorcycle raffle generously offered to donate the custom GEICO Bopper Chopper back to BGCGW to raise further funds for the organization. Acting CEO of BGCGW, Kevin Dowdell said, "We are very appreciative that through their generosity GEICO has included us in the Bikers for Tykes campaign which will further support our youth development efforts and allow us to impact the lives of thousands of area children and teens."
