Hurricane Electric, a leading IP Transit provider, has extended its network into Canada by connecting to the TORIX Internet Exchange.

Hurricane Electric is offering both standard IPv4 and native IPv6 connectivity in the Switch and Data facility at 151 Front Street, Toronto. New and existing transit customers will experience added capacity and direct routes to Canada. In addition, Canadian networks will see faster connections to Hurricane Electric customers and the greater IPv6 Internet.

"We're very excited to grow our capacity into Toronto," said Mike Leber, President of Hurricane Electric. "Our global network simply wouldn't be complete without including our neighbors to the North."
