IGT, LVGI to Showcase First Third-Party Casino Application for Server-Based Open Network at G2E
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- International Game Technology(NYSE: IGT) and Las Vegas Gaming, Inc. (LVGI) announced today that the firstthird-party developed application has been successfully tested and integratedinto IGT's server-based network using the award-winning sbX(TM) Media Manager.This significant achievement will be delivered through IGT's award-winningService Window. The LVGI application will be on display in IGT's booth at theGlobal Gaming Expo (G2E) November 18-20 in Las Vegas.

With server-based networks quickly becoming a reality, it is importantthat manufacturers and third-party developers become interoperable to provideseamless integration for casino operators. In addition to giving operators asecure method to load, schedule and store content, IGT's sbX(TM) Media Managergives third parties the "plug and play" capabilities they need to delivertheir applications to players over the open network. This allows operators tooffer new game, promotional and customer service applications that will drivegaming revenues.
