American Defense Systems Appoints Nicole L. Prush as Director of Armor Solutions

HICKSVILLE, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 11/20/08 -- American Defense Systems, Inc. (ADSI) (AMEX: EAG), a leading provider of advanced transparent and opaque armor,architectural hardening and security products for Defense and HomelandSecurity, has appointed Nicole L. Prush as director of Armor Solutions.

In this capacity, Prush will be responsible for the development, marketingand sale of ADSI's line of unique opaque and transparent armor solutionsused by the US Military, government agencies, private security, and lawenforcement.

Prush previously served as a captain in the US Army Corps of Engineers. Inthis capacity, she acted as an Engineer Brigade Maintenance Officer,supporting two engineer battalions forward deployed to Afghanistan insupport of Operation Enduring Freedom. In this position, she insuredcombat readiness, logistics support and maintenance operations for a fleetof more than 1,200 pieces of military equipment and related constructionoperations. Prior to this position, she served as a battalion adjutant,providing personnel and human resources management for approximately 1,000soldiers forward deployed to Iraq. Prush began her military career as a USArmy assault bridge platoon leader in charge of a 60 soldier unit deployedin combat in a remote region of Iraq. Under this command, she was alsoresponsible for a variety of engineering equipment valued at more than $26million. Her meritorious achievements during this deployment wererecognized with the award of the Bronze Star Medal. Prush earned abachelor's degree in sociology from Western Maryland College.
