Medweb™ is deployed in the Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in Kuwait,Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as Lanstuhl, Germany, and other MTFs in theUnited States. Current support is provided remotely from the U.S. and thusis subject to communication disruptions, time-zone differences, and lack ofhands on contact with users and obsolescence of user equipment. The scopeof this award is to provide user support to in-theater (local) systemsadministrators, through training and assistance associated with replacementof new hardware, the latter of which is being provided under separatecontract activities.

The focus of this order is to provide enhanced sustainment capability andservices to support the current capability until a successor system isdeveloped and fielded.
