During the six weeks that the Holiday Pet Adoption Windows will run at Macy's Union Square, Del Monte Pet Products will help educate current and potential pet parents about the benefits of adoption and how to lead to a healthier, happier lifestyle - for them and their pets. The Company will host sampling events and interactive in-store pet-themed activities, including an appearance by 9Lives' Morris the Cat - "the most recognizable cat in the world" - and a chance to create a "Milk-Bone Moment" for the dog in your life by creating a delicious Milk-Bone holiday gift. Del Monte Pet Products will also provide gift bags filled with pet food samples and coupons to new pet parents who adopt a dog or cat at Macy's.

The Holiday Windows at Macy's Union Square have become a not-to-be missed attraction during the holiday season. Each year, thousands of shoppers gather around the magnificently designed windows to visit the adorable kittens and puppies that are available for immediate adoption through the San Francisco SPCA. Last year, the program was a success with more than 277 animals adopted and $37,000 being raised for the SF/SPCA.
