DALSA's High Quanta sensors use advanced fabrication techniques and achieveincredible improvements in noise performance and quantum efficiency (QE),peaking at more than 70%. The new sensors also employ the latest designs inoutput amplifiers providing exceptionally low noise at high data rates, andare available now.

These two new High Quanta sensors with resolutions of 1044 x 1044(IA-DJ-01044-00-R) and 524 x 524 (IA-DJ-00524-00-R) feature the same 24 umsize pixel. "Now users can enjoy the same High Quanta imaging performancein smaller and more cost effective sensor formats," said Behnam Rashidian,Product Manager, DALSA Life Sciences. For those applications demanding ultra violet (UV) sensitivity and > 90%QE, back side thinned (BST) devices will be available on a custom basis.
