Hepavax-Gene® is a recombinant hepatitis B vaccine. Since itsintroduction in 1996, more than 596 million doses have been sold inover 90 countries, making it the third most used hepatitis B vaccinein the world. It is one of the World Health Organization (WHO)'spre-qualified vaccines for immunization against hepatitis B virus(HBV).
