ACG Detroit, OESA Team to Present Meeting Tues., 1/13
"Strengths and Weaknesses of the Automotive OEMs - The Suppliers' Perspective"
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI -- (Marketwire) -- 01/05/09 -- The Association for Corporate GrowthDetroit Chapter and the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA)will team to present a meeting Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Glen Oaks Golf& Country Club, 30500 W. 13 Mile Road (just east of Orchard Lake),Farmington Hills, MI.
The Meeting will begin with networking, registration and breakfast from 7am to 8 am, followed by a presentation that will address "who can predictthe future of the domestic OEMs?"
A panel of experts will outline various OEM scenarios, considering unionissues, product mix, fuel prices and government assistance. These scenarioswill be discussed in relation to production forecasts and the implicationson suppliers as the North American automotive industry continues itsrestructuring effort.
