Nominations Open for 2009 Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards
SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/09/09 -- Nominations are now being accepted forthe 2009 Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards taking place Thursday, May 28,2009. This fourth annual event is presented by Larkin Street YouthServices and the San Francisco Business Times. At last year's awardsceremony, over 450 Bay Area business leaders gathered to recognize thefinalists and award winners and to raise over $400,000 to benefit LarkinStreet Youth Services. This year, Bay Area CFOs will be recognized fortheir successes and contributions through one Hall of Fame - LifetimeAchievement award and six CFO of the Year award categories.

Nominations are being solicited for Bay Area Chief Financial Officers whohave made outstanding contributions to their company's performance as wellas to the greater Bay Area business community in the following categories:
CFO of the Year for: Public Company with revenues above $500MM Public Company with revenues up to $500MM Non-Public Company Venture-Backed Company Community Service Transformation Agent
Finalists and winners will be chosen by a blue ribbon independent SelectionPanel comprised of business and academic leaders. Winners will beannounced at the awards dinner and ceremony on May 28, 2009 at the PalaceHotel, San Francisco.
