CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/09/09 -- RenoWorks (TSX VENTURE: RW) and Home Hardware Stores Limited, Canada's largest independent home improvement retailer, announce their partnership with MDG Computers, the largest Canadian owned PC manufacturer and retailer.

Now individuals who purchase an MDG computer system will receive a copy of HomeWorks Home Remodeling Software: Starter Edition, as part of the package and preloaded on their desktops. The partnership is a result of the companies seeing a synergy between their offerings and their common Canadian consumer base.

"More and more people are using computers and the Internet to research their purchases & home remodeling projects and now they can try out different building products such as siding, roofing, windows, doors, hardware, Beauti-tone paint colours and different flooring options on images of homes with their new MDG computer." says Andrew Pantelides, National Lumber and Building Materials Product Manager at Home Hardware Stores Limited. HomeWorks users will have access to more than 2,500 Home Hardware products from more than 34 major building materials manufacturers. Product updates are kept current by visiting www.renoworks.com/homeworks.

"Partnering with MDG is exciting for us," states Doug Vickerson, CEO RenoWorks Software, "now people who may not have been aware of or have had the chance to use HomeWorks previously will have access to it right from desktop along with a direct link to the new homehardware.ca website".

"Having HomeWorks loaded on all our PCs gives MDG customers the chance to use their computer in a whole new way - to help renovate their homes." Says Marc Boudreau, Marketing Director MDG Computers Canada, "We are very pleased to have this new point of differentiation and are excited about this new partnership with RenoWorks and Home Hardware".
