Thermal, United States (IBwire.com - November 03, 2009) Art in the Dunes festival to be held November 21-22 in Bermuda Dunes - Bermuda Dunes, CA

The Community of Bermuda Dunes will host its First Annual Fall Festival, Art in the Dunes.  "It just doesn't get any better."

The Vintage Nursery at 78755 Darby Road in Bermuda Dunes, "our host" for this event is truly a magnificent venue to showcase our more than 100 highly skilled artisans, craftsmen, food vendors and musicians.  Monies collected will be donated to support art endeavors for the children of Bermuda Dunes.

Other activities include a vintage car show, live animals from the Living Desert, Cabot's Pueblo Museum and their highly skilled instructors will provide a firsthand glimpse into the wonderful world of art. Come see how a pot is thrown, a glass bead is made, a painting is developed or a piece of rough mineral material cut into a beautiful faceted gemstone.  Artists in Action from both Cabot's Pueblo Museum and individual artists will be spread out in the garden fountain area as well as in the boothes.  This is a must see!

Listen to some very dynamic music performances from some very talented local musicians to include champion harmonica player Hurricane David, The Barking Pup Fish, Alex A and the Desert All Stars, Eric Frankson, Alyce Bowie, Jann Browne, and well known radio personality Brad Mercer.  There will be strolling musicians and ladies and gents in vintage clothing, a hot air balloon display, local children singing Christmas carols.

While listening to music you can stroll by and stop into any number of the vendor booths to see jewelry, clothing, pottery, glass beads and art of all mediums from some an amazing group of talented local artists.  Don't forget to take a moment to have a bite to eat from one or more of the vendors providing tacos, burgers, salads, snow cones, and organic kettle corn and more.
