The New South Wales Community Services and Health ITAB (NSW CSH ITAB) is a nonprofit organization established in order to provide advocacy, advice, support and leadership for the community services and health sectors with a particular focus on the vocational education and training opportunities for developing the knowledge and skills of the workforce. The organization provides advice to State Government to inform development of State Plans and funding priorities to meet the industry sectors’ needs. It also offers advice to more the than 70 sectors across the Community Services and Health industry on workforce capacity, career pathway opportunities, funding for training programs and resource development to support and maintain an effective NSW workforce.
Susan Scowcroft has been the Executive Director of NSW CSH ITAB for the past 12 years. She provides leadership in developing and managing projects, assures that the organization benefits from a long term strategy to ensure business continuity, works with and reports to a voluntary Board of Directors and supervises all organizational operations. She participates on many committees and industry forums. Susan performs her responsibilities ensuring the proper functioning of the organization aligns to the rigorous corporate governance structure established with the Board over her years at the helm.
Susan holds qualifications in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education and Vocational Training and Assessment. Susan loves to spend her leisure moments with her family and friends, travelling, walking, going to the theatre, or sailing.
