The company started by her former husband specializing in custom designs that exceeded industry standards for creativity and innovative features. Debbie started there as a designer, leading the company in sales and awards for over 8 years. In 2007 she became General Manager until her husband retired in 2010. During her reign with River Oaks, LP, the company was honored multiple times by Pool and Spa News, the pool industry's national trade magazine, as one of the top 50 pool companies in the U.S. The company has been the recipient of 193 Association of Pool & Spa Professionals International and Regional Design Awards as well as 41 Greater San Antonio Builders Association Summit Awards and 13 International Awards, additionally, received multiple awards from Aqua Magazine, naming the top 100 pool companies in the nation.
Debbie’s pool designs have captured the title “Designs of Distinction” and have been featured on the front cover of Luxury Pools, Signature Pools & Spas, and Country Living magazine. Winning 20 regional design awards, 8 international design awards, 10 Summit Awards in 6 years, her most recognized achievement would be the companies’ signature pool for River Oaks for over 10 years. Debbie has mastered training from Genesis3 an international forum for professionalizing the pool industry, a member of P.A.C.E (Paramount Advisory Committee Enterprise), NFIB for small businesses, Carecraft member, and Women in Business (WIB)
Debbie, who possesses extensive expertise in design and construction, is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations, modeling her own company after her predecessor Dan Pendley, whose focus was to combine the finest materials, top-of-the-line equipment, state of the art technology and highly-skilled professionals to construct the finest pool available.
