Heather S. Harej Joins The Stanford Who’s Who Family

Harej has been accepted into the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who’s Who as a result of her remarkable work in the healthcare industry. Throughout her brilliant professional career, Dr. Harej has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Dr. Harej is a practicing clinical psychologist who specializes in children and adolescents with Dr. Goodman & Associates at their St. Charles and Oak Brook offices. Her practice is focused on helping children and adolescents struggling with peer difficulties, developmental transitions and life changes, such as divorce and death, as well as those suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and bullying. She places great emphasis on parent inclusion in the treatment process and meets frequently with parents to offer them the necessary support and guidance in helping their children work through their difficulties.

Dr. Harej has a strong belief in the small group process to help children and adolescents discover that they are not alone and that there are others one’s own age with whom they can share their concerns. She runs a Social Skills Clinic, Children of Divorce Clinic, Anger Management Clinic, Self Esteem Clinic, and a Parenting Clinic. Dr. Harej is also a skilled speaker who gives numerous presentations regarding the parent and child relationship, and managing behavior in children and adolescents.

During her collegiate career, Dr. Harej earned a Doctorate degree in Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and she is also a graduate of the University of Illinois. She is a member of the Illinois Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
