“Lemonade” star Beyoncé supposedly flirted with New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. at the 2016 Met Gala. For the first time in years, the singer showed up to the fashion event sans husband Jay Z. The couple’s relationship came under fire after she essentially accused Jay Z of cheating on her with multiple women on her new album.

Without Jay Z by her side, Beyoncé was free to talk to other men. She focused on the New York Giants star. “Bey was talking with Odell for a long time. A little too long. Solange had to go and basically pull the two of them apart,” an insider told the blog Media Take Out Tuesday.

But it might not have been anything more than talk. “Now we’re not going to say that the two were cheating or anything. But there was definite flirtation going on between the two,” the blog added.

Gossip Cop, the website that dismembers celebrity rumors, busted MTO’s “sensational” story. “There’s a reason why Media ‘Fake’ Out is basing its story on a mere conversation: Because nothing salacious happened,” the website wrote. “But this being Media Take Out, they had to go the sensationalistic route.”

Monday’s Met Gala marks two years since Beyoncé’s sister, Solange, famously attacked Jay Z in an elevator. This year, Jay Z decided to ditch his wife. “Jay Z chose to not be there with Beyoncé at the gala and the after-party,” an insider told Radar Online in an exclusive report Tuesday. “It didn’t seem like he had a really good reason for skipping the event.”

Fans booed Jay Z at Beyoncé’s “Formation” tour stop in Miami last week after the singer claimed her husband cheated on her with “Becky with the good hair.” Rita Ora was accused of being Becky, but Beyoncé squashed that rumor when she posed for a selfie with Ora. The “Black Widow” singer also wore a name tag that read “not Becky.”
