Some may love the PS4, while others might pine for the Xbox One. But regardless of what side of the fence you fall on, what we do know for sure is that Amazon loves both Sony's and Microsoft's next-gen consoles. Preorder sales of both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have propelled Amazon's video games store to the site's biggest video game preorder week ever, according to multiple reports.

Amazon has reportedly indicated that preorders of consoles during this year's E3 increased by 4,000 percent over console sales during E3 2013, but that's hardly surprising considering that brand new consoles are expected to sell much better than consoles that are at least six years old. Here's what is surprising though: At their peak, consumers were preordering 2,500 Xbox One and PS4 consoles per minute. Wow.

Last week, Microsoft reversed course on the Xbox One's policies with respect to used games and Internet check-ins. Now, the Xbox One will not require daily Internet check-ins. Gamers will also be able to approach used games the same way they currently do with the Xbox 360. We're wondering whether preorders for the Xbox One increased after Microsoft's stunning reversal last week, which comes with three big caveats. Read about them here.

What do you think of the PS4 and Xbox One? Will you preordering the PS4 or the Xbox One? Why or why not? What do you think of Microsoft's reversal regarding the Xbox One's policies toward used games and Internet check-ins? Do you approve of them or not?
