Psy was knocked off the No. 1 spot in the K-Pop Hot 100 by 63-Year-Old Korean singer Cho Yong-Pil with his single “Bounce.” Mr. Cho’s music is mostly associated with “trot,” the oldest form of Korean pop music, which doesn’t have much of a following among Korean youth. Despite this divide, Cho’s “Bounce” has received a warm reception from both young and old audiences throughout South Korea, breathing new life into this 63-year-old’s career.
