Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong recently called PSY the herpes of music via his Instagram account.

Armstrong received a wide range of response via the comments on the post both supporting the post and criticizing it as well.
In an interview with Elaine Moran on Fuse, PSY was asked about what he thought about Armstrong’s remarks. PSY responded simply: “I think it’s really cool, and I appreciate that. Thank you.”
