Public finances in Great Britain continues to enlarge as the debt grows; in March Public Sector Net Cash Requirementswas 23.5 billion, which is more than triple the previous reading of 7.7billion that was revised to 8.0 though expectations pointed to an even greater figure of 31.3 billion.

Meanwhile, Public Sector Net Borrowing almost doubled to 23.5 billion from the previous 12.4 that was later revised to 9.7 but also fell short of projections of 24.0 billion.

In another report, M4 money supply had fallen to 0.1% in March's preliminary reading from its previous 0.2%, while the annualized indicator slid to 3.5% from the precious 3.9%.
