Leave it to the Science Guy to reveal the mysteries of the universe. Bill Nye was featured on "Inside Amy Schumer" and delivered a startling truth about the cosmos that will change our lives forever: It turns out the universe is really there to help us make our daily, mundane choices.

All the galaxies, stars, supermassive black holes, dark matter, dark energy, possible life and planets are just working together to help you, according to Nye. "Scientists once believed the universe was a chaotic collection of matter. We now know the universe is essentially a force sending cosmic guidance to white women in their 20s," Nye said in the clip.

The clip is punctuated by absurd scenarios -- the universe tells someone to take calcium, continue an affair with their married boss, find an apricot puggle, open a mitten business or watch "New Girl" on Hulu. There's even a cameo by Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson from "Broad City." The clip concludes with an exasperated Nye walking off the set, muttering and cursing.

While Nye is only pretending to be angry on "Inside Amy Schumer," there are a few topics that can get under his skin. Climate change and evolution are two things he will defend against any public figure or "expert" challenging the notions that climate change is real or insisting that creationism should be taught in schools. Nye's appearance on CNN's "Crossfire" to discuss climate change featured a particularly tense exchange with conservative economist Nick Loris. Nye was also involved in a climate change debate with U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R -Tenn., on "Meet the Press."

There was also the debate between Nye and Ken Ham, president of the Creation Museum.

Nye serves as the CEO of the Planetary Society and recently launched a Kickstarter fund-raiser to fund LightSail, a solar-powered spacecraft. The campaign has raised over $700,000 -- well above its goal of $200,000, with 29 days left to go.
