New York City and the Northeast region of the U.S. are preparing for a massive winter storm. Forecasts are predicting up to three feet of snow from NYC up to eastern New England. If you are not in the Northeast and want to see what the first major blizzard of 2015 is all about, NBC has two blizzard live streams, with views from Times Square and Rockefeller Center.

The blizzard, dubbed Winter Storm Juno by the Weather Channel, has already begun in NYC, but the real accumulation is expected to take place overnight. New Yorkers will wake up to snow blanketing the ground and cars. For many, the morning commute will be canceled, and students will likely enjoy a snow day.

"Travel will be hazardous, especially during and after the evening rush hour. Bus, commuter rail, and subway service could be curtailed on a route-by-route basis, depending on conditions and snow-removal operations. As a result, commuters should consider working from home if at all possible," NYC's Metropolitan Transportation Authority said on its home page. Thousands of flights have already been canceled due to the massive nor'easter.

"Winds and snow are expected to continuously pick up in intensity through today ... tonight and into early Tuesday over southern New England and northern mid-Atlantic region. Winds gusting to near hurricane-force together with zero visibility in heavy snow are forecast to impact parts of southern New England. Very impressive snowfall totals of one to three feet are predicted from the New York City area northeastward through southern and eastern New England by the time the storm departs late Wednesday,” reads the National Weather Service’s storm summary as of 10 a.m. EST.

With New York City bracing for the worst and residents staying indoors, you can see the storm develop, thanks to NBC's live streams from Times Square and Rockefeller Center, both of which can be viewed below. Also, Earth Cam has its own Times Square live stream, which can be viewed here.
