The latest issue of Maxim India that features Priyanka Chopra on its cover has gained mixed reactions from the actress’ fans.

The “Quantico” actress has been named as “the hottest woman in the world” by Maxim India in its June/July 2016 special double issue. Chopra displayed her sexy side as she posed for Maxim in a black sheet skirt and monokini, according to Us Weekly magazine. However, fans and critics slammed Maxim India for photoshopping Chopra’s armpits.

When Chopra shared a snapshot of Maxim India’s cover on her Instagram account, one of the things that fans noticed was her airbrushed armpit. In the cover, the Bollywood actress had her left arm up as she held her hair in a tight grip above her head. The “Baywatch” star’s exposed armpit looked flawless and devoid of the usual lines that are usually present in the said body part.

Social media responses captured by the same report also took note of an Instagram user’s comment that read, "Beautiful…But barbie doll armpits…too Photoshopped!" Other comments posted on Chopra’s Instagram account also spoke of the actress’ photoshopped armpits. A fan even called out the Bollywood star to address the airbrushing issue. Instagram user gurdbadwal wrote, “@priyankachopra don't think you need to be photoshopped you should speak out against this...need to send positive message to our girls.”

Neither Maxim India nor Chopra has commented on the cover’s photoshop issue.

Meanwhile, Chopra has captured the hearts of TV viewers when she starred as agent Alex Parrish in the hit ABC series “Quantico.” Fans have seen the actress engage in various action sequences in the show. All the stunts were done by Chopra herself where she even gained a few bruises and scars. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, she shared that she was proud of her stunt scars. “I wear them like a badge of honor,” the actress stated.

Fans can see more of Chopra in the upcoming second season of “Quantico.”
