Queen Elizabeth II didn't attend a scheduled engagement for health reasons, but netizens have another theory.

The monarch was set to attend a service at St. Paul's Cathedral, but she changed her mind at the last minute because she was "feeling under the weather." However, the netizens believe that the Queen had another reason why she wanted to stay home.

"Her Majesty very rarely pulls a sickie. Hope she's OK," Piers Morgan wrote on Twitter.

"She has just pulled a sickie, Just getting ready for the footy tonight. Bless her filling up fridge with Carling, starting the BBQ, sticking up the bunting takes time at 90. God Bless our Brexit Queen!" Anthony Nix commented.

"She's fine, just mad for watching England tonight, she will be sat on her throne singing footballs coming home with a can of Stella in her hand!" Aaron Jones wrote.

"Just to watch the match," Matthew Dunleavy wrote.

"She's just getting settled for the Footie tonight," Craig Henniker agreed.

"England play tonight, she just wants to get right on it, and knows she'll be rough tomorrow.... I've done that loads of times," David Johnston shared.

Meanwhile, a number of netizens showed real concern for the Queen. According to one user who believes in the palace's statement, the weather is not nice for any old person.

Meanwhile, another believed that the Queen might have to do it because her husband is not okay. "Not like her...maybe its just the weather. Do hope she is ok. Maybe Phillip isnt well," Ann Petford wrote.

Queen Elizabeth II is not slowing down when it comes to taking royal duties. In fact, she has just increased her workload. According to Write Royalty, the Queen increased her engagements by 25 percent compared to the previous years. Earlier this month, she already attended 125 events.

On Tuesday, the Queen was accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Young Leaders Awards ceremony. It was Queen Elizabeth II's second official engagement with Meghan Markle.

Earlier this month, the Queen and Markle traveled to Cheshire together. They unveiled a new bridge and opened the Storyhouse Theatre.
