Queen Elizabeth II Wednesday arrived in Australia for a 10-day tour along with the Duke of Edinburgh. There have been speculations that this could be probably her last visit to the country.

The Telegraph UK reported that the Queen was clad in an aquamarine dress, dress coat and hat with black gloves when she stepped down at the Royal Australian Air Force's Fairbairn Base in Canberra.

As soon as the Queen arrived, she was greeted by a 21-gun salute. Apart from this, the military band from the country's Federation Guard military also played God Save the Queen.

It has been reported that the last time the Queen embarked on a long journey was in the year 2006 during the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

The Queen will be visiting Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth also.
