Prince Andrew has the support of Queen Elizabeth II, but that doesn't mean everyone else will follow suit.

The Duke of York gave an interview over the weekend explaining his friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, an American financier and convicted sex offender who died in prison earlier this year. The interview, which was an attempt to clear up any misunderstandings about their relationship, seems to have backfired and has led to even more backlash.

Although Prince Andrew expressed "regrets," as reported by Express, it was not enough to stop some establishments from reviewing their association with him.

According to the British publication, companies have started to distance themselves from Pitch@Palace, an organization supported by the Prince. KPMG, an accounting firm, has decided to end its sponsorship, while the pharmaceutical company, AstraZeneca, is reportedly considering the same.

"Our three-year partnership with Pitch@Palace is due to expire at the end of this year and is currently being reviewed," AstraZeneca revealed.

The Outward Bound Trust, where Prince Andrew is a patron, is also among those who will "be reviewing" their relationship.

Despite all of the fallout surrounding the Duke, he reportedly has the full support of his mother, the Queen of England.

"The Queen is very much intending to stand by Andrew," an insider dished. "The sad reality is that she’s got a blind spot when it comes to him, as her favorite son. It’s a bit like how Margaret Thatcher was with her son Mark. Andrew can’t do any wrong in the Queen’s eyes."

Pair the Prince Andrew controversy with everything that's been happening with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and it's understandable how some people have gotten the impression that the 93-year-old monarch has lost control of the royal family. At the end of the day, though, everyone is responsible for their own actions, and some people feel that Queen Elizabeth is doing just fine in her royal role.
