Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s summer issue 2016 with four of her beloved companions, the Queen’s corgis and dorgis.

Britain’s longest reigning monarch has posed for the latest issue of Vanity Fair magazine, surrounded by her famous dogs, E!News reported. For the cover, Queen Elizabeth II looked comfortable in an ensemble that featured different shades of blue. Prince Charles’ mother wore a light blue long-sleeved cardigan over a collared shirt, as well as a darker hued skirt. The Queen appears to be sitting on a bench with a green hedge background filled with pink flowers.

Sitting beside the royal monarch is one of her corgi dogs named Holly. Three other dogs sat on the ground near the Queen’s feet. The corgi dog Willow was photographed on the right side of Queen Elizabeth’s feet while the dorgi dogs Vulcan and Candy sat on the royal queen’s left side.

The Queen has been known to favor corgi dogs. The said dog breed has been a part of Queen Elizabeth’s life since she was very young, as stated in the same report. The Queen’s first corgi puppy was named Susan. The said puppy also marked the start of the Queen’s royal corgi breeding program that began in 1949. The royal monarch has bred several dogs during the past decades and has even crossbred a corgi and dachshund, also known as dorgis.

Meanwhile, included in Vanity Fair’s summer issue 2016 are several pictures of the royal monarch taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, according to a report posted on the said magazine. Avid royal fans may recall that a few of these photos has already been released to commemorate the Queen’s 90th birthday in April. Some of these images included a photo of the Queen on the steps of the Windsor Castle’s East Terrace, as well as a picture with her daughter, the Princess Royal, Anne.

One of the images includes a photo of the Queen with husband Prince Philip whom she shared has been her source of strength. The same picture was also posted on Vanity Fair’s Instagram account. The image was captioned, “Married for nearly 69 years, the Queen says her husband, Prince Philip, ‘has been my strength and stay all these years.’”

The Vanity Fair 2016 summer issue will be released on June 2.
