Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have joined the growing list of celebrity breakups.

Bilson, 36, and Christensen, 36, reportedly decided to pull the plug on their relationship. A source has confirmed that the former lovers have gone their separate ways and have been living apart for months now. "She's full-time back in L.A. He's in Toronto," a source told Us Weekly. "They've been on the outs for a couple of months. They are completely, officially done."

Bilson and Christensen first met in 2007 on the set of "Jumper." They got engaged after a year of dating. The pair called off their engagement in 2010, but reconciled three months later. On Oct. 29, 2014, the couple welcomed their daughter, Briar Rose Christensen, Daily Mail reported.

Bustle noted that Bilson and Christensen's split may have been a long time coming. The "O.C." star had been sharing photos of her ex on Instagram. She didn't do it regularly, but Christensen occasionally appeared on her posts. In fact, she used to refer to her ex-fiancé as her "ride or die." But since June, he has not made an appearance in her Instagram posts again.

In addition, another sign of their rocky relationship was when Bilson and Christensen decided to sell their home in Sherman Oaks. The duo bought the 3,000-square-foot property in late 2012 for $2.7 million and extensively renovated it. But in April, the "Hart of Dixie" actress and "Star Wars" actor decided to get rid of the property.

The ex-couple "made a covert, off-market deal to sell their mid-century ranch house on a hillside plateau high above Coldwater Canyon in Sherman Oaks for $3.8 million," a source confirmed to Variety.

Bilson and Christensen's split comes after two other celebrity breakups that made headlines over the past few weeks. Chris Pratt and Anna Faris separated in August, while Fergie and Josh Duhamel announced that they are parting ways after eight years of marriage earlier this month.

Some Twitter users have not taken the celebrity breakups well and took to the social media site to express their thoughts. "First Chris Pratt and Anna Faris and now Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson.... love really is dead," one user wrote on Twitter.
