The Rangers and Capitals look to take the advantage in their second round playoff series. The two teams are knotted at 1-1 in this Eastern Conference semifinal matchup.

Washington stole home ice advantage in Game 2 with 3-2 victory at Madison Square Garden. Alex Ovechkin put the Capitals ahead with a power-play goal with 7:27 left in the third period.

Being at home may not benefit the Capitals. They are just 1-2 at home this postseason. Conversely, they have won four of their six road games.

Game 3 gets underway Wednesday at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network. If you can't get to a television, you can watch a live stream of the game online here.

New York is trying to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals after finishing with the best record in the regular season. Washington finished seventh in the east, but still managed to split their four games with the Rangers during the season.

It's the third time since 2009 that the Rangers and Capitals have met in the playoffs. Washington won both series.

The winner of this series will go on to the play of winner of the Devils-Flyers series for the right to play in the Stanley Cup Finals.
