Rich Homie Quan has landed himself in hot water again, this time with Child Protective Services (CPS). The “Flex” rapper was previously in trouble because of his controversial lyrics and involvement in an altercation with a security guard. Now, he may be in danger of losing his son, Royal Lamar.

According to TMZ, child services in Georgia, along with the Fulton County police, have joined forces to launch an in-depth investigation into Rich Homie Quan. The probe was prompted by a video he uploaded. The short clip, which was shared via Snapchat, showed the 25-year-old rapper smoking what many are speculating is marijuana while sitting with 1-year-old Royal. Sources told TMZ that CPS and the authorities would like to sit down with Rich Homie Quan for questioning, which they are hopeful will help lead to a resolution. If it is found that he was, in fact, smoking marijuana in the toddler’s presence, he could be charged with a slew of things ranging from endangering a child to reckless behavior.

As TMZ previously reported, the rapper was involved in a physical altercation with a security guard on March 23. The site claimed the bouncer would not let Rich Homie Quan into LIV nightclub at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, Florida. After being turned away he reportedly began screaming about his accolades, telling the bouncer he was “a millionaire” and asserting that he was, most certainly, coming inside. When the security guard refused to give in Rich Homie Quan allegedly punched him and fled the scene via a speedboat.

The rapper has not directly responded to claims he is currently being investigated. He did, however, upload a photo to Instagram on Wednesday with the caption, “why’s everybody hating on meeee ???”
