Two former champions continue their return to title redemption as Rashad “Suga” Evans meets fellow American Dan Henderson in UFC 161 on Saturday night at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

His last three fights decided by decisions, Evans has suffered a two match losing streak since his dropping light heavyweight title to Jon Jones in April of last year, and his follow up bout to Brazil’s Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC 156 back in February.

Still, Evans is the only fighter to go the distance with the dominating Jones.

Fighting for the first time in Canada, the former Ultimate Fighter tournament victor will have to use his quickness to avoid the heavy, powerful hands of former Strikeforce and Pride titleholder Henderson.

The 42-year-old college wrestler enters the ring for the second time this year, after being away for more than a year and a half. He was originally supposed to face Jones at UFC 151 in 2012, but pulled out with a knee injury.

Six months ago Henderson lost a split decision to Lyoto Machida, but he’s determined to continue his third UFC stint. Of his 29 career victories, 13 have been by knockout and 14 via decision, proving Henderson can either go the distance or end a fight prematurely with a few well-placed blows.

The pay-per-view event begins at 10 p.m. Eastern. Viewers can purchase the fights at UFC.com here.
