Perpetually itinerate NBA free agent Jannero Pargo, 33, and his VH1 “Basketball Wives” reality show wife Malaysia have put their Chicagoland homestead on the market for $2.4 million. The slate-roofed chateau sits back from a small road in the quiet, tony Riverwoods section north of downtown Chicago.

Resting on nearly three acres, the 11,000-square-foot home has 8.5 bathrooms, seven bedrooms, heated floors, a cathedral ceiling, a library, a bar and its own power generator. Chicago native Pargo, who played for the Bulls from 2003 to 2006 and 2009-10, bought the three-acre estate for $2.25 million in 2009, a year after the home was completed, according to the Chicago Tribune.

It’s no surprise he’s bailing on the Chi-town castle. Pargo has bounced around the NBA since he began his career in 2002. He’s played for the L.A. Lakers, the New Orleans Hornets and the Toronto Raptors. After the 2007-08 season he took off to Russia to play for Dynamo Moscow. In October he joined the Washington Wizards. Meanwhile, his wife has been busy with her own reality show project in Los Angeles.
