It appears Kim Richards is returning to reality TV after all. In June, it was reported that Bravo, along with its parent company NBC Universal, had fired the former child star from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" ("RHOBH") due to her history of alcohol abuse. New reports suggest Richards, 51, was recently seen filming scenes for the upcoming season of the show, shutting down previous rumors.

According to Entertainment Tonight (ET) the former full-time cast member was seen with close friends Yolanda Foster and Brandi Glanville in Beverly Hills Park. The trio, who were there for a picnic lunch, were joined by a film crew, leading onlookers to believe they were filming scenes for an episode of "RHOBH." A source close to production told ET that Kim had made incredible progress since being arrested for the first time in April and that producers and co-stars had taken notice.

"Everyone sees the progress she has been making and everyone was happy to have her back!" the source said.

The network released a trailer for Season 6 of "RHOBH" and although neither Kim nor Brandi are full-time "Housewives" anymore, both make appearances. The short video shows the fall-out from Kim's arrest as her sister, Kyle Richards, prepares to attend her niece's wedding. She is shown driving while talking to someone on the phone, revealing that Kim told her it would be best if she didn't show up. Kim later makes an appearance in the trailer, having a sit down with Season 5 enemy Lisa Rinna. Meanwhile, Brandi pops up in a discussion with Yolanda Foster about her Lyme disease diagnosis, mentioning that the other women are trying to prey on her while she's weak.

Brandi quit the show shortly after reports surfaced that Kim had been fired. During an episode of her podcast she shared the sad news with fans, telling them she planned to spend her newfound free time focusing on other business ventures. It was initially reported that Brandi was fired from the show after stirring the pot in Season 5. She claims, however, that those rumors are untrue.

"RHOBH" returns for Season 6 on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. EST.
