Kim and Kyle Richards, who rose to fame as the sisterly duo on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," are finally in a good place after hitting a rough patch in Season 5. After the season aired, Kim, 52, struggled with her sobriety, checking into and back out of several rehab facilities in a span of just a few months. This drove even more of a wedge between them, but now that Kim is "sober" and "happy," Kyle, 46, says their friendship is headed in the right direction.

According to People magazine, the mother of four recently sat down with "Real Housewives" creator Andy Cohen on his SirusXM radio show "Andy Cohen Live." During her interview she was asked about her relationship with Kim, which she claimed was going well though the show occasionally creates issues between them. She told Cohen, 47, "RHOBH" tends to rehash old issues, which creates new feelings of hurt for both Kyle and her sister. Kyle went on to say that although they had fixed a lot of issues in their relationship they were, and probably always would be, a "work in progress."

"We have a very difficult relationship and we will probably always be a work in progress," Kyle said.

She was also asked about Kim's sobriety after her very public struggle to give up drinking and avoid legal issues. Kyle told Cohen her sister was "sober" and "happy" right now. She also revealed that she will be sporadically featured on the upcoming season of "RHOBH."

Bravo released a preview for Season 6 of the popular "Housewives" franchise on Nov. 5. In the short clip, viewers learned that the main focus of the show will be on Yolanda Foster's Lyme disease diagnosis and how legitimate it is. The women, namely Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle, begin questioning her health after learning of the many unconventional treatments she's undergone since being diagnosed many years ago. The trailer also show's Kim on several occasions returning to be with Yolanda, 51, and confront Lisa Rinna, whom she butted heads with in the previous season.

"RHOBH" Season 6 airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
