Season 10 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” kicked off with a bang. Rather than spend the first episode reintroducing themselves to viewers, Shannon Beador and husband David Beador dove right into the drama.

The couple, who have made their marriage struggles very public, kicked off the season with a getaway. Unfortunately it wasn’t just any vacation -- the Beadors were headed to marriage counseling. In her one-on-one confessional interview Shannon admitted that things between her and her husband of nearly 15 years had gone downhill since last we saw them. During their couples retreat Shannon and David were able to get to the root of all their problems.

During their gut-wrenching session Shannon admitted, for the first time, that David had been unfaithful in the past. She shared with the therapists all the details about his affair, including how she found out and how it’s affected the relationship since. She shared with the group that her suspicion began when she caught him on the phone whispering to someone. She questioned him at the time, but he held firm that nothing was going on. It wasn’t until one day when he went to drop their children off at school that she discovered hotel receipts in his briefcase, confirming what she’d thought all along. David eventually admitted to having an affair, but the couple ultimately decided to try and make it work.

Following her shocking revelation, they split up into separate groups where they were able to take a look back at timelines of their relationships in an effort to determine exactly where and why they each went wrong. In the end, both Shannon and David seemed genuinely happy with the outcome of their therapy -- but will it be enough? Previews for next week’s episode suggest the weight of David’s infidelity may rear an ugly head once more when the couple are reintroduce to “RHOC” newbie Meghan King Edmonds.

As you may recall, Shannon and David spent a majority of Season 9, their first season with the “Real Housewives” franchise, fighting for their marriage. Their troubles began early on in the season and continued to get worse. David eventually moved out for a short time, during which he sent Shannon the infamous email suggesting it may be time to throw in the towel on their relationship. Outside gossip from the other O.C. “Housewives,” namely Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge, only served to make things worse between the pair.

It remains unclear how this will end for the Beadors. Tune in next Monday at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo for more drama in the O.C.
