Real Madrid's league campaign might well be over. But they're still competing against Barcelona for the individual performances. Cristiano Ronaldo scored four times in Real Madrid's 6-2 win over Sevilla to propel him above Lionel Messi in the league's top scorer charts.

It was a clinical performance from Madrid who went into half time 3-0 after goals from Sergio Ramos, Ronaldo and Kaka. Alvaro Negredo pulled one back for Sevilla in the 61st minute but Ronaldo stoked any possible comeback with goals in the 65th, 70th and 75th minutes. Negredo scored his second six minutes from time.

Ronaldo has scored 33 goals in the league so far this season, two more than Messi. The Argentine will have a chance to get on top of the scoring charts as Barcelona have played a game less than Madrid.
