Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has sent another player to the Premier League.

Portuguese defender Ricardo Carvalho will be loaned out to the Queens Park Rangers for £7.5 million, according to several reports. The Rangers were looking to strengthen their defense after a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Swansea.

Carvalho, once considered one the best players in the world, made 17 appearances for Madrid in 2011-12 and recorded one assist and no goals

This is the second loan this week for Los Blancos, who are finalizing a deal to send playmaking midfielder Nuri Sahin to Arsenal. The deal initially stalled as the Gunners sought a £14 million buy-out clause to keep Sahin permanently, but the two sides have reached a compromise according to the Daily Mail.

Yet Mourinho still has not landed his desired player all summer in 26-year-old Luka Modric, who has been caught in between Tottenham Spurs and Madrid.

The Spurs have asked for up to £40 million for the Croatian star midfielder since the transfer season began, as they received an offer for that amount from Chelsea in 2011. Los Blancos last two moves have added pounds to their already deep purse, meaning Mourinho could be shoring up as much as possible to satisfy White Hart Lane's steep demands.

It was thought the two sides came to an agreement last week, but Tottenham president Daniel Levy wanted an additional £2 million and Mourinho was reportedly furious over the extra stipulation.

However, speculation still insists Modric will join Los Blancos. Real has displayed their confidence for all to see, as the team already created Modric's player profile on their official website.
