Borussia Dortmund host Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal on Wednesday, with both sides looking to position themselves to make the final at Wembley next month. In the U.S. the match will be shown live on the FX network, rather than the Fox Soccer Channel, with a live stream still available via Fox Soccer 2Go. Coverage will begin at 2 p.m. ET.

Madrid made the last four after a 5-3 aggregate win over Galatasaray but progress came at some cost with full-back Alvaro Arbeloa being sent off in the second leg meaning he will miss the clash in Dortmund. The surprise absentee from Madrid’s team, though, is that of Angel di Maria. The Argentinian winger is left out in favor of Croatian midfielder Luka Modric.

The former Tottenham player is likely to lineup in the center of a line of three, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Mesut Ozil, and behind Gonzalo Higuain.

Dortmund made the semifinals after a dramatic quarterfinal win over Malaga in which they scored twice in injury time. Manager Jurgen Klopp has a full squad available for the first leg of the semifinal.

Much will again depend on the attacking trident of Mario Gotze, Marco Reus and Robert Lewandowski. At the back, Mats Hummels has now made a welcome return to fitness.
