While every El Clasico is of huge importance, few have carried as much consequence of this one in terms of deciding the fate of La Liga.

Sitting four points clear at the top of La Liga, a win draw or victory would all but secure their first league title since 2008, with just four games remaining after Saturday.

But if Barcelona could pull off the win on their own turf then it is firmly game on in a title race that looked all over when Real Madrid held a 10-point advantage just over a month ago.

Team News: Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has made two changes to the lineup that went down to Chelsea in midweek. Thiago Alcantra and Cristian Tello come in for Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas, The change means Andres Iniesta will operate further advanced, with Thiago slotting into midfield.

Real coach Jose Mourinho has opted for the same side that lineup against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Barcelona: Valdés; Dani Alves, Mascherano, Puyol, Adriano; Busquets, Xavi, Thiago; Iniesta, Messi, Tello

Real Madrid: Casillas; Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Coentrao; Xabi Alonso, Khedira; Ronaldo, Ozil, Di María; Benzema

Prediction: Barcelona has been outstanding at home this season and has the momentum going in their favor in the league. Surely desperate to make amends for the missed chances that cost them dearly against Chelsea, Barcelona will be favorites to make the final weeks of La Liga very interesting indeed.
